The Corning Erwin Area Transit System (CEATS) is the public transportation service dedicated to providing safe, convenient and affordable transportation. 

Bus Schedules

 


Route 1 - Corning Community College: Servicing Corning Community College  
Service Operates AM and PM Service Monday - Friday. Pick-up and drop-off times vary so please consult schedule for times.

East Corning/Gibson - Route 2: Servicing Tioga Center, Tioga Street and Conhocton St., Criminal Justice Ctr., Crystal Lanes and the Gibson Fire Dept. 
Service Operates AM and PM Service Monday - Friday. Pick-up and drop-off times vary so please consult schedule for times.

 Northside - Route 3: Servicing Transportation Center, Guthrie Clinic, Stewart Park Apts., Winfield Street School, Northside Blodget Middle School, St Vincent's School, Puteney Plaza, Senior Center and Wegman's Plaza.
Service Operates AM and PM Service Monday - Friday. Pick-up and drop-off times vary so please consult schedule for times.

 Southside - Bus Route 4: Servicing Transportation Center, Wegman's, Mountainbrow Village, All Saints Academy, College Center, Corning Free Academy,  County Court House, Corning Hospital, Day Spring I, Day Spring II, Jubilee Foods, Corning Town Hall (On Request).
Service Operates AM and PM Service Monday - Friday. Pick-up and drop-off times vary so please consult schedule for times.

Coopers Plains/Gang Mills/Painted Post - Bus Route 5: Servicing Transportation Center, Wegman's, Pulteney and Bridge, Corning-Painted Post High School, Burger King,Victory Village, Coopers Plains, Wal-Mart, Ramada In and Morningside Drive.
Service Operates AM and PM Service Monday - Friday. Pick-up and drop-off times vary so please consult schedule for times.

Exact Change Please

Our bus operators are not allowed to handle money or give change.

Please be sure to have exact change to pay your fare for each trip.

May I bring my pet on the bus?

No, pets are not allowed on the bus. Service animals are permitted.

Flag Stop

CEATS is a flag stop system which means a passenger may board a bus at any safe place along a fixed route. When you see the bus you want, signal the driver by waving.

Monthly Pass

Unlimited ridership on any fixed routes within the month for which the pass is valid.

Passes must be displayed each time you board and must remain in your possession for the entire trip. Pass' may be used by any member of you family.

Tokens

Tokens may be used in place of the $1.00 fare.

Tokens may be purchased at: Chemung County Transit System, 1201 Clemens Center Parkway, Elmira, NY 14901.

How to Ride

Look at the bus schedule to determine the time point of when the bus will be at the location near you. PM times are in bold.

On Request (OR) means that the bus will stop with no additional fare, but only through a pre-arranged request.
